Range of targets in 2 gun matches?

I've never tried any kind of competition using rifles, just a couple of practice matches with pistols. At what range are rifle targets set for in two gun matches? I have an AK with a red dot and I can make reliable hits on a 12 inch plate out to 150 yards max. Is that far enough or will some targets be beyond 150 yards?

I've only done the 2 gun match at TriCounty and although I don't know the exact distance, they are not any where near 150 yds. I use a PCC with a red dot.
