Boy, those "things" looked like something to scrap, not use for anything.

Now you know why military surplus firearms in all the CIP countries get

a. Inspected by trained firearms inspectors in the relevant National Proof Houses.

b. Judged fit-for-proofing [FFP] by trained firearms inspectors. Not one of the POS guns would have been deemed FFP.

c. Proofed by trained gun-Proof inspectors and re-viewed for any faults that may have showed up on test-firing.

d. Passing post-Proof viewing, stamped with the relevant proof of Proof stamps.

All before being disposed of on the commercial market.
