Almost got the Spartan but got a nightmare instead. I like it so far. I'm a fan of sigs. Once my budget gets a little bigger I want to try a Dan Wesson. My buddy had a revolver and it was very nice

Another vote for DW. The quality for the price is unmatched. I've been carrying a VBob for over a year and I couldn't be happier. My night stand gun is a Specialist with a TLR1 HL. No malfunctions in either gun running FMJ or numerous types of hollow points, using mostly Wilson and Chip McCormick mags. I sold my Springfields and haven't looked back.

Plot twist  I'm a Dodge fan haha :D
Good point though!

You'll loose your butt on reselling a fancy 1911.. Trust me
I know this from experience o_O
I have only one 1911 variant. A 1974 .45 Combat Commander. $124.95 delivered - those were the days. Even though I added a Bar-Sto collet barrel, I can still probably move it with no fear of loss.

A shot-out Baer will still shoot with any of them. If I had the bank, I would head to Baer and nowhere else. They do not rattle, even bone dry.

No personal experience with a Baer, but sure would like to.

Oh, your gun rattles?!?!? I get a huge kick out of people that point out the rattle in a 1911, like it's a bad rod bearing or something... The frame to slide isn't the important part...

Ask @SKrueger how his "rattly old Colt" shoots.
