Look at Hoage stock and grip also they come in different colors that's what I put on that purple one for my sister I don't like there forends so I used DuraCoat firearm paint and painted a UTG 13 INCH FOREND

I think if you're going to do that the gun looks best if at least the stock, grip and forend are all FDE.

When I bought it I was told if I was hesitating buying it due to the fact that it didn't have the forward assist or dust cover is none issue.

Many cheap competitors continued to offer these features, though. So Smith & Wesson ended up discontinuing the original M&P 15 Sport, and replaced it with the Sport II, which does have both the forward assist and dust cover.

The ironic thing is that you can probably buy the newer S&W M&P 15 Sport II now for less money than you paid for the original Sport.
