Because it's so bulky. And that's what fits in a standard 1 lb bottle.
And it great for soft shooting loads I made some .270 loads and it was like shooting a .22

This. If you want to fill a long revolver case and have a soft shooting load (even softer than red dot) it's great. Also decent for reduced rifle loads. It cycles my revolvers just fine:p. I hate the way it smells though.

If you open a 9oz (by weight) bottle of trailboss it's worth noting that it's stuffed full to the cap. They aren't ripping anybody off they just can't fit any more in a 1lb sized powder bottle. That said I prefer red dot and 700x.
 
I use that for my 38spl. I really like how it fills the entire case. Very soft shooting behind a 110 and 125gr XTP. I haven't tried the min load but am at just about MAX for the case capacity. I also use magnum primers for it!
