Tips and tricks for reloading for lever action 357/38specia

My hand fits pretty good in it now but the metal is just a little rough. I think if I leather wrapped it now it would be to tight for my hand so I'm hoping if I get a big loop and wrap it'll end up about just right.

From a fellow lever fan, the big loop allows my hand too much time to accelerate before it hits the bottom of the loop and gets uncomfortable fairly quickly. It looks cool, though...

Thanks for the tip.i only ran about 30 38s through it. Then put some more 357s into. I'm pretty sure it's now one of my favorite guns.

I think I need a big loop for it then leather wrap that to make it a little smoother on the hand tho.

I have a Ruger 77/357 and I just bought a Ruger 77/44.
I sighted my scoped 357 in at 75 yards. With 357 they were touching.
I then shot factory 38spl ammo at 75 yards. They hit about 3 & 1/2" low to the right.

Spring time I will play with loads for this bolt action 357 and for my 6" GP100 and 7&1/2" Redhawk.

I need to put a scope on the 77/44 and I will play around with loads for that bolt rifle and my 7&1/2" Redhawk, my 7&1/2" Super Redhawk and my stainless 10" New Model Blackhawk.

If I can find a decent 357 and 44 lever gun I will pick one up to play with.

Whatever you reload, make sure you try them in your Firearms. Especially, a Lever Action. The 92 Can be iffy.
