BLC-2 powder summer vs winter. Can anyone tell me what kind of velocity difference you're getting with your load during summer and winter. Someone told me the difference is minimal(like 50 fps slower during winter) is this true?

Thanks in advance.

Not BLC-2 powder and without going back thru my notes off the top of my head I saw about a 200fps difference between summer velocities and winter. This was a 90* day in full sun vs a winter rainy day about 45* out. This is an observation on 1 load, id have to go back thru my notes to confirm exact numbers. Im hoping to have better data by next summer.

Never ran BLC-2 loads over a chronograph so I don't have numbers, but I've never seen more than a click of two elevation change between summer and winter on the .308 loads I've used.

I hope this helps.
