Ehh... I blame the company's. If the supply chain jobs were such good jobs, there wouldn't be personnel problems.
If the pay was decent/hours decent/competently managed/properly staffed.... wouldn't be a problem.

I have found that livable pay and competent management are in short supply in the transport industry. YMMV
It's far more globally complex than such now, unfortunately.

Looks like Chinas manufacturing has also crashed, expect to see massive shortage of everything we have become reliant on!
Only good thing that could come from that is bringing jobs back here to the states!

Speaking of newly fired unvaxxed, sounds like there may be 10's of thousands of
Medical professionals who are no longer working, effective today…. Thanks Kate Brown…. Oregon is circling the bowl…
She seems to have taken "If it's Brown, flush it down" as a public mandate

Let her Highness eat cake! She brought this upon us, now she can reap what she has sewn!

Time to sue the gov'ness for putting Orygunions at greater risk, all for her power play in the waning days of her kweeenship!
I wonder what Pedo has in store for Kween K8once she is out of office?

She can't run again in 2022, so will be a free agent in 2023. Biden won't win in 2022. He's even lost the youth - at all the college football games students chant "F*** Biden". An ABC poll shows 55% of Americans think he should resign, This is a failed Presidency only 8 months in and it can't be saved, at least not by pedo.

Maybe he can hire her as his ice cream monitor in 2023?

I never heard the claim that supply chain jobs would make you rich. They are like most jobs. You agree to work and they pay you. You want more money, do something different.

I had a short lived relationship with a woman who was upset my job paid more than her's even though she had a masters and a title.

The big problem in the US is government intervention. Stop helping us. Most of the decision makers in DC never had a job where they had to be responsible. Liberal degrees straight to politics. The supply chain is at a stand still and the *president is at a baseball game. No doubt waiting for his orders.

Resign? The entire administration along with all but a handful of D party members should commit public seppuku. Some Rs can join in as well. They are all a disgrace and embarrassment.

You are all some demented Aholes to get that joke.
Hahahahaha
Nah, some of us have studied more history than just our own... back in college, one of my classmates was a student-visa from Japan who believed that if there was a true heir to the Samurai tradition in WWII, it was not Hideki Tojo but Douglas MacArthur.

Guy actually made a pretty good case, too...

and.. things may get alot worse sooner then later

wonder how long they will wait before they just invade.
Depends on their level of desperation. Their outlook for the future is far bleaker than ours so if they wait too long they won't be able to take Taiwan. I'm anticipating a world wide depression due to the bungling of the US economy by 1) shutting it down for political purposes and 2) continuing to keep people living in the dole to get votes. Our economy drives the world, so it's going to get real ugly.

Biden and the left are toast, so China has a window between now and 2025 to act, Might even be as soon as 2023 if the midterm red tide is as strong as its looking now. If we get veto proof majorities it won't matter who is in the Oval Office.

It's much worser then we think!
Most of China's fleet of container ships are stuck at anchor off foreign ports, like 92% so not only are they unable to move freight, what they have moved is now stuck in limbo for the foreseeable future. Add to that, the record breaking monsoon flooding, the massive power outages country wide, loss of workers due to the Covid lock downs and mandatory stay at home mandates. They are also not getting shipments of the raw materials needed to produce their cheap goods, from iron ore, to lumber, to oil, they are not getting any, so their problems are now compounded even worse then ours! We have all seen the 60+ container ships off Los Angeles, what we haven't seen are the huge numbers at anchor in other ports around the world, Antwerp has something like 40+ ships, Rotterdam ( one of the biggest ports in the world) has close to 100 sitting, And the list goes on and on! Close to 2000 container ships all at anchored awaiting berthing to off load and return at beak neck speed to get reloaded!

The other problem with all those container ships is other countries who are now stuck with their exports loaded onto those ships, so smaller producers like Viet Nam are also suffering Hugely!

Wearhouses are cleaned out, there was never any strategic with holdings of product at any point in the chain of supplies, so we're all screwed!

This all started under Carter, really picked up steam under Regan, and has continued to circle the drain since then! Remember when Japan first became a power player with it's Sony walkmans, and Toyota cars and trucks, and the big push to "Buy American" yea, that's when it all went to hell, when we sent company executives to Japan to learn how to run lean and mean, we tried to do that here, and now we are seeing just how bad it really is!

Add to that, Sippy Cup and his "Stimulus" payments, the raise if minimum wages, and the de valuing of the working stiffs dollar, and we are doomed! Sky high inflation will not only clean our pockets, but will inevitably lead to
A huge increase in crime as folks become desperate for basic needs, cannot stay in their homes or apartments, and are forced to make choices nobody should have to make!

All this was a massive shift in power and wealth, follow the money to see who is making a killing during this!

Completely agree…

But remember Orange Man was bad because he was AmeriKa First, energy independence, bring manufacturing home where it belongs…. AmeriKa taking care of AmeriKa…. As it should be..

Now we'll need our stainless umbrellas to weather the coming feces storm…. Thanks mumbles…

IMO it's time to use selective service to enlist truck drivers and dock workers from among the unemployed and able bodied as this qualifies as a national defense issue. Your choice when you get the notice - take a job at the going rate or become Private Dockworker for military pay.
