They've definitely improved over the years, but hot sauce is still worth is weight in gold. They've apparently figured out the nutrients, I haven't seen any real negatives aside from the frequent anal explosions and the bloating.Same deal in the late '60s, we spooned crushed red pepper over everything! Probably saved us from paddy blight or some other horrible malady!
I've also had a lot of issues with my stomach over the years. I'm guessing that primitive 1943 preservatives might not be the best for you.
Don't get me wrong, they still suck. But they're much better than nothing.
