Maybe a Hawes?

Might be a Hawes or J.P. Sauer copy of a Single Action Colt ....very common in the late 1950's -1970's.

They did indeed.....However....I have seen and owned Colt Single Action copies made by J.P. Sauer ...and not marked as Hawes.

Condition and caliber are everything here.
I used to seen 'em in the $300 range for a really nice one...
But that was awhile ago...And both gun guys and the gun market are fickle.

Neat grips...if it was my revolver...I might consider taking the "bluing" off of the trigger guard / back strap and polishing the aluminum up to look like nickle....
