The wife and I shooting away the afternoon together about 5 years ago.
she was shooting her 64, and I was breaking in my 93r17 with the 18 by bsa scope..
man I loved that gun, I could pop an 8oz coke can at 250yrds.. took about 200rds to break in that barrel, and was a tac drI've with a warm bore.
still don't know why I sold it..

I did some shooting around christmas. I had done some work to a 10/22 for my fiancee...I wanted to test out my crown job and sight in the dot...

Anyway I decided to test different anmo at 80yards.

I was using my tactical solutions 22lr ar upper 5shot groups...

Top left going clockwise
Augila hyper velocity 30gr
Augila pistol match 40gr
Cci 36gr
Winchester m22 40gr
Also not pictured 40gr cci...and not impressed with...

A little shaken, but challenged...
Shot the first series at 21 ft...normal distance for my practice sessions, since it's highly unlikely any defensive situation would be further out than 21ft.

Then, since I just joined a pistol shooting league at my local range, I thought I would practice according to the 'regulations'. SO, the second target is at 50 ft. With one hand.

My confidence is shaken, but at least I will get to practice once a week for 10 weeks...

That picture was taken in washington, and there is no motor in that truck

I believe you can't shoot from a vehicle while hunting. If it's a problem target shooting from the hood or bed of a pickup I'm in trouble

That's basically my rig, except I've also added 3 wooden "Donuts" to the table for the legs on the rest to sit in. Works great, along with a folding chair.

I'm just waiting to see who's going to show us the hole they shot through the pickup bed
with their new AR. when they tried to use the opposite side for a rest,

I still have the jacket I was using for a rest and almost set on fire with an old style flash hider on my AR.

Did anyone else here buy that NRA rifle rest pictured (with an AR) in their catalog only to find, if you tried to use an AR in it, the butt stock support was gouging into your cheek.?

A hacksaw took care of that problem.

As far as I know there is only a law against shooting a game animal from a motor vehicle, but of you have a disability you can get this waved and shoot from your rig. As far as recreational shooting I don't think there is. They maybe able to get you for shooting from a road way as I don't believe that is a hunting specific law.

I had a guy come and buy a hood I had for my old Super Duty I sold. After we loaded it up he says well I see you are into guns as he saw my safe and then says the real reason he wanted the hood His had a bullet hole in it from shooting off of it

This girl, (sorry I don't remember her name. Now I do, Gracie), came to the range with her dad during one of our golf ball shoots. When we were done my girlfriend asked her if she wanted to try it. Set her up with the 10-22 and with a little coaching she was picking off golf balls at 50 yards regularly. I think the smile lasted all day!!

Took the G20 out today.Asked a friend if he wanted to try it out.Hit a golf ball at about 15yds and MAN did that thing fly!

Had some time to get out sunday.
First time really shooting my AR pistol other than a couple rounds for test fire. It ran like a dream!
