few more videos after this for painting and final assembly and test firing...

There was this guy who built an AKM receiver from a $2 shovel, and used a parts kit as well.

This isn't the only parts kit gun build out there, there are the STEN plans, UZI, BM59 (Italian version of M14 using M1 Garand parts), bolt action rifle parts, and so on.... In fact, go to any large gun show, you should be able to find parts kits and parts for whatever gun you wanna build off the books.

Legally, manufacturing a single gun, or whatever number, for personal use and such, does not require any type of FFL license, but there is always a possible issue of "building for resale/profit" that the ATF seem to go after..... especially using the "Constructive Intent" part.

I love stuff like this, but come on. If we get to the point where we are honestly having to make unregistered shovel rifles for more than just fun, we should probably be pulling our poverty ponies (Anderson lower) out of the stable and water the Fing tree.

A Right cannot be legislated away it can only be violated. If it can be legislated away, it's not a right, merely a privilege.
The Second Amendment is in the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Privileges. Any attempt to violate it is a criminal activity. The people trying to violate it are criminals, no different than any other armed robber attempting to steal your property. The fact that they wear a suit and are armed with a phony "law" makes no difference. They should be defended against as you would any other armed robber. The fact that they are a gang with heavily armed enforcers makes them far more dangerous. It does not make them right or legal.

I-1639 was just a popular vote, with no check by an opposing senate or president. Of course 7115 will pass a democratic house, but it will be stopped by the senate.
For two years at least, we hope! God help 80 Percenters, when the anti-gun rights folks take back control. We had better hope for a solidly pro gun SCOTUS lineup at that time. Not some wishy washy group that thinks "well, maybe it's ok to restrict this or that but you can keep...."

Remember the Republicans will continue to hold the Senate and White House...

Just a matter of time before the socialists are recalled...
The White House didn't protect bumpstocks (in fact they went after them) so I think we are dependent on the Senate to save us from this 80% hating monstrosity of a bill.

It is sad to say that we have, as gun owners, lost this country to the left. They just will not stop for anything. A new nation wide ban proposal is coming after the 80% market. HR-7115. I personally am so effin tired of the left try to control me and the way I live in America. We have lost all the old values in life like respecting your elders and your neighbors. We live in a "what can you do for me" society and everybody wants a hand out and tell you what you can own or not own as far as firearms. Not sure what to say. All I can do is shake my head in disbelief.

Goodbye AR Builds, Hello H.R. 7115: Nationwide Proposed Ban in the Works - The Truth About Guns
Is there anything stopping the new super majority in Oregon from passing nearly identical legislation as is written in HR7115 for Oregon?

That does make me feel better. Now if I'm ever sent to rot in jail for violating their violation of my rights, I will know that it is unjust. I get where your coming from and agree in principle. Unfortunately we have courts who decide how the bill of rights are interpreted and they don't always get it right imho.

That is a option you can allow. Everyone likes to remember how our freedom was bought. Few (myself included) want to have to do that again. But, if the option is lose it because some black robed mystics on the court say I'm not free after all?
In the words attributed to Captain Parker at Lexington "Stand your ground! Don't fire unless fired upon! But, if they want to have a war, let it begin here."
I've lived peacefully and productively for almost 65 years. Being punished for crimes I did not commit is an intolerable affront. I know the outcome since we WON'T hang together.

Like you Good Sir, I'll abide the Constitution.

Sorry if the wrong place to post but there is very little discussion on this subject here. Please, let's get the word out. Mods, delete if this is in violation of rules. This will devastate a very large portion of our rights, please do a little research on this subject. The news isint reporting on this because they seem to be in the pocketbooks of the party silently pushing this through.

Mitch McConnell still has not brought the National Reprocity Bill to vote. Passed by the Republican majority house earlier, I see smoke and mirrors. They have the votes in the Senate. Just sayin'.
