I used to shoot in NRA sponsored "postal" matches many years ago. They were fun. The issue now a' days is finding a place that will allow you to shoot at a reasonable cost. For those who don't know a Postal Match is one where the organizer creates and posts a target and the competitors print it out, shoot according to the instructions, mail it to the organizer and win cash and prizes. (Okay, maybe just a token prize)
If it's not obvious, it would depend upon honesty and integrity, (quit giggling) on the part of the participants and the organizer/administrator.
If there's enough interest, I would like to initiate and organize the first round.
The target is at post 13. Be sure to write your user name on your target.
We just pay a family membership unlimited range time….. whole family and 5 guest passes? minus when NRL22 takes rifle range 6 hours one Saturday a month.I used to shoot in NRA sponsored "postal" matches many years ago. it's OK....I went & made some 'misses' for you.....Had to travel for work last minute that blew my hopes and dreams.
Let's not complicate things too much; why not just print out and shoot two targets and submit the one you like best? Can i submit 2 targets for 2 different firearms next time?
We just finished "Round 2". Check out "Rimfire Postal Match - round 2".Is anybody still doing this?
