Maybe we should focus on putting that $21 trillion deficit in check first.

I sort of danced around this. As I said, private sector has bypassed NASA. Russia is no longer a player in space, as their economy will no longer support it. Russian global and space influence will be contracted significantly in the next decade plus. That means billions of dollars. China's economy may not be able to sustain competition in space, with a renewed US economy, particularly if we can get the giant trade deficit under control. Trump is already working on this.

If "Space Force" means putting nuke launch platforms into orbit, then that will be a mistake.
Then we'll have to have killer platforms when the Russians and Chinese do the same thing.

Iron Dome does have a fatal flaw... if you spam it with enough crap all at once, some will get through. And the missile launchers have finite capacity, and once that's exhausted it takes time to reload... it's not like just slapping a mag into your AR.
