Portland cannot keep a chief mire than a few years and the majority are fired or resign over corruptiin allegations or from controversial shootings and get thrown under the bus. There have been years in the past where they go tgrough 2 or 3 chiefs. I researched that all the back to the 60s - Portland just cannot keep a chief. If Oregon is ungovernable - Portland is the equivalent to Mogadishu. Rule of law and the Constitution mean nothing and only the most corrupt empty turds fliat to the top.

The police are not judge and jury they are thier to protect society they are not necessarily thier to protect me and my family that is my job. I believe in the death penalty but the police should use no more force than necessary and the first solution always as some police believe should not be lethal force. There are many good police but if they are so scared to do thier job I would recommend a different carreer. There are many dangerous jobs.

WWeek and the libtards are a joke. Anytime an LEO uses force, even if it's not deadly force, they're up in arms. I say screw 'em. Give them downtown PDX, let it go back to the jungle. Businesses will fold, they won't be able to sell those overpriced condos in the Pearl anymore, property values will dive, tax revenue will plummet, and they'll be completely flummoxed as to why. The mayor isn't safe in his own home and they can't figure out what to do about it. And I don't see it changing. There's a reason I live north of the river. There is a problem with the entitlements of todays youth and the lack of respect for society and authority that most parents especially single parents and those in bad areas give their children.
