After looking at the pics of the bullet ridden car, it reminded me of a neighbor in Parkdale, Oregon who ordered a custom 1 ton Chevy pickup from the local car dealer in Hood River. He waited patiently for over a month after he paid for it, but it didn't show up as expected.
The dealer gave him the usual run around and after another three weeks it finally showed up.
I drove him down to the dealers lot so he could drive it home.
Come to find out, the railroad car that was transporting it, was somehow left on a side track in Nebraska in the middle of nowhere and left behind for over four weeks by itself.
The truck had at least as many holes in it as the ones in the Albany Machine gun shoot.
The railroad detective that handled the insurance case claimed that the nearest town hardware store had sold over thirty five bricks of .22lr that month alone to the local teenagers.

Eh. I got over shooting full auto back in the 70's. Humping all that ammo all over the place had something to do with it, I'm guessing.

Once you go down range in a tank for table X gunnery, full auto loses some of it's luster.

I've humped my share of ammo around too. I still love the sound and feel of a full auto.

I just don't have to carry it around all day anymore. Yay!!
