By chance, is anyone here hunting cow elk in south Fossil, Oregon this season? Those are tags 245D1 (season ends today), 245D2 (Dec. 1-9), and 245D3 (Dec. 15-23).
I ask because:
A) I hold a 245D2 tag (Dec. 1-9) for the first time. I've been doing my research and would like to share thoughts with others doing the same (or those who have done the same in the past). I do not have access to private land, and yes, I do know that public land is very limited for this hunt. I'd be interested in talking with folks with any of these three tags (or past experience with them).
B) My hunting partner just had to back out, so I'll be solo. If by some crazy chance one of you finds yourself in the same spot for the same hunt, let's talk. Elk are heavy.
