NY Times Jan 11 - Tough Path Seen by Obama on Ban of Assault Weapons

Let's not take our eye off the ball here- I don't have any faith that this kind of "news" leak isn't simply a tactic to get "the subjects" to relax on expressing their position on what seems to be happening (our rights being stripped). The gang in the big house has proven time and time again that they don't have any particular fond regard for the bill of rights.
