What I find interesting is how much it has grown in the last 4 years.

2016 was a presidential election year and an extremely contentious race with lots of fear driven 2a purchasing.

I'm curious if those charts indicate when the forms were filed or approved.

I'm pretty sure that is the same as guns sales in the US as far as 2016 peak and then drop. I don't recall the last 4 years sales but that may be the same also. More guns = more nfa guns/suppressors etc.

Edit: just looked and gun sales are about the same as that chart. 2020,2021,2022 are high (no 2023 data on the chart I looked at) like that chart. So it's just more total guns = more total nfa items.
