They always say the i5 corridor is what decides what the state does. Anything west of i5 has been blue for along time. Most people tend to talk about the i5 corridor as the divider and it actually goes up into Washington the same way.

Yes those areas are generally red but if you actually look at the density maps of actual votes if it touches the i5 it's blue in the city's.
