I often carry my MACRO since it holds 17 rds

There is also p365x which is larger than p365. But you can put p365 frame on the p365x to make it the same size as p365 while keeping the flat trigger. That's what I did to shrink carry size a bit.

No clue about p365 fuse cuz I have no desire to keep up with them all.

The premise was that the repeated strikes against the back side of the breech face was causing fractures at the base of the firing pin, ultimately leading to its complete break and separation from the rest of the striker assembly. In addition many of the early guns also exhibited a significant amount of firing pin drag across the case primers during live fire, which the contention was that this condition exacerbated the stress on the firing pin. Or so goes the conjecture . Also the possibly that MIM entered in conversation with material , production , base issue and dry firing complicating things . YMMV .

Edit : Sig has since early production redesigned the firing pin to strengthen it similar to aftermarket pins .

My long search for my perfect ccw started with the g19, tried and true, no introduction needed. Switched out the trigger and some other controls for my personal preference. 100% reliable, fairly accurate, but definitely not the most comfortable thing to carry..

Next I moved to the 43x. Again, switched the trigger and some other controls for my personal preference. Just like my G19 the 43x was 100% reliable, fairly accurate, and much easier/comfortable to conceal than my G19. Also using Shield mags, had a round capacity i gelt was acceptable.

One day at the range, a gentleman noticed me drooling over his Wilson EDC X9 and was generous enough to let me run a few mags. Love at first shot! For myself, it was perfection. The ergonomics, the well thought out carry design, and that trigger! I NEEDED ONE... 3 months later, I walked into my local shop to pick up my EDC X9 in the 4inch flavor. To this day it is my top 3 favorite pistols to shoot, 100% reliable, far more accurate than I will ever be, and in my eyes a work of art.. the only problem, it was too nice. The more I carried it, the more uncomfortable I became with having over 3k on my hip.. I still carry it occasionally, but typically suit and tie events, and not for my everyday active and physical lifestyle.

Finially, my search ended when I met the SIG P365. A good friend had at the time recently purchased the P365 Xmacro. Similar to my experience with the Wilson X9, the P365 and i were a great match.
Long story short, I'm back in my local shop to purchase a Xmacro for myself when I see the P365 AXG Legion behind the glass. The first thing I noticed was the price difference, which was almost an immediate turn off. But what I didn't notice until it was in my hand was the steel grip module, I loved the extra weight, and it fit in my hand like it was custom made for me.. I took the leap, spent the extra coin, and I'm glad I did! The AXG model has everything i wanted and nothing I didn't.. All stainless steel, best factory striker trigger I've ever experienced personally (also flat shoe which i prefer), subtle but highly effective magwell, frame undercuts and grip texture done just right, quality set of factory night sights as well as slide cut for RMS-C optics, and more. I'm also a big fan of the compensator cut slide and recoil mitigation system. Mine has been 100% reliable, extremely accurate, and is a exceptional ccw option in my opinion.

P365 or Hellcat.... Both feel & shoot great. They'll put holes in just about anything your aiming at. YMMV

I prefer the Hellcat. My buddy prefers the P365. They are both great carry guns.

I find that I am much more likely to carry a smaller pistol than a bigger pistol. Hence my most carried pistol is a Diamondback DB9. I prefer to pocket carry and it is the largest pistol I can carry in a front pocket and still get it out of my pocket easily. When I go to Portland I usually carry my Kahr CM45 or Springfield XDS in .45acp IWB. I personally prefer a bigger round than more smaller rounds. If I know I am going to spend a fair amount of time in public when in Portland I will carry my XD mod 2 in .45acp with a 13 round magazine. Lots of firepower while still pretty small (smaller and considerably lighter than the CZ-75D compact).

I got a P365 for concealed carry after carrying a g19. The P365 is very concealable but that comes at the expense of other things such as sight radius and barrel length. I have yet to achieve the same level of accuracy compared to a 4 inch barrel pistol. Even though I have small hands, the P365 grip does not extend below my palm which creates difficulty changing mags. I took a class with lots of mag changes, and to get an empty or nearly empty mag out of the gun, had to pull it out with the other hand because the bottom of my palm was in the way. Putting the new mag in required some shifting of the shooting hand grip to prevent getting my palm pinched on the mag insertion. It functions flawlessly and it's highly concealable, but those same benefits create drawbacks.

Go to a local shop and try a 365XL and see if that grip length helps. The next size up is the Xmacro grip length. The grip modules can be swapped out very easily but are not cheap. Then you'd need to by the appropriate mags if going to a longer grip module.

IMHO, a lightning fast mag change on your belly gun is highly unlikely to ever be a factor in the real world, but will be a factor in the training or BUG match world.

You probably already know but they make 10 round with pinky extension, 12 round and 15 round which all have extensions that are longer than the grip.
