Washington New Conceal Carry Application

I'm in Bellevue and with all the nonsense going on I want to get my concealed pistol license but according to the King County site, they're not accepting new applications bc of corona virus. They will accept new applications once King County is in Phase 3. To enter P3 would requires less than 563 new corona cases within the last 14 days. In the last day there have been 149 new corona cases so it's going to be awhile.
Is there any other alternative? Are there any counties that will process a conceal carry for a abandoned King County resident?

I believe you must go with police in the town you live in. Don't think there is in other way in Washington.

Go to the King County Sheriff's Office and apply for one there. The Sheriff is the highest ranking law enforcement officer in the county and may issue permits to residents of the county.
