I make my own 300 BLK rounds cause I like all aspects of reloading and have lots of free time (retired). When I was working I was too busy and just bought the ammo - figured I could use the cases later for reloading. I've made, loaded and shot thousands of rounds, both super and sub-sonic, with no issues.
I have a specific tool head setup on my Dillon to size and deprime the cut cases.
Steps I do:
  1. wet clean brass
  2. Dry in an air dryer
  3. cut cases using HF cutoff saw and Speedy 300 Blackout Case Cutting trimmer. I cut to 1.370" (they stretch a little when sizing). Would love to get the red goodie :).
  4. debur - I use the Lyman Case Prep XPress tool
  5. size and deprime
  6. If using 5.56 brass, swage primer hole with Dillon Swage 600
  7. cut to length - I use the Little Crow Gunworks trimmer on a drill press
  8. Debur, measure length and clean primer hole
  9. wet clean brass with SS chips
  10. Dry in air dryer
  11. reload
