Excerpt from article "Democrats against the bill pointed out law enforcement groups are largely opposed to it out of concern it will cause more gun violence.

Sen. Royce Duplessis, D-New Orleans, read aloud a letter the Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police sent to New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell regarding Miguez's proposal.

"Permitless concealed carry undermines both the safety of law enforcement officers and the general public," the letter stated.

Duplessis emphasized a part of the letter that stated the proposal would create significant challenges for law enforcement in the field who often need to quickly and easily verify whether an individual is carrying a firearm legally."

Arkansas,
Florida,
Georgia,
Idaho,
Indiana,
Iowa,
Kansas,
Kentucky,
Maine,
Mississippi,
Missouri,
Montana,
Nebraska,
New Hampshire,
North Dakota,
Ohio,
Oklahoma,
South Dakota,
Tennessee,
Texas,
Utah,
Vermont,
West Virginia,
Wyoming.

Good on the Pelican State if they can get it passed. I was surprised, but happily so, to see that so many states have gone Constitutional carry.

These are the States remaining that still requires a permit to carry, with several notably being "no issue" in practice

California
Colorado
Conneticutt
Delaware
Hawaii
Illinois
Massasuschetts
Maryland
Michigan
Minnesota
Nevada
New Mexico
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
South Carolina
Virginia
Washington
Wisconsin

Of the above...seems the two Carolinas, and maybe Virginia (very low odds) may be open to Constitutional Carry/Permitless Carry?

The notable thing is that a vast majority of the above States are deep Blue/anti2A
