I had the honor of meeting a craftsman today.
I realized that through my dad there is a connection. Tonight at the kitchen table I had the fun of examining some of his knives. His daughter is getting married out at my dads place soon. Odd the connections that get made.

The craftsmanship is phenomenal.
I fondled this knife a bit, knowing it was extremely out of my price range:
