That's the truth.
I saw a lot of Ds in uncontested races during my research before the primaries. We need a write-in campaign(s) for those seats.

Next we need to vote out Brown and enough other Oregon anti-2A politicos so that they relearn, as once they knew, that attacking 2A rights is political suicide, whatever your party. All we have done is block the ballot measure route for the upcoming election. We must vote this year to dump as many of the worse anti-2A politicos as possible. Remember that the main way anti-gun laws are usually passed is by ordinary legislative process.

Take back our freedoms and make them unshakeable, and to once again steal a quote from our most excelent friend and pro 2nd supporter @etrain16 make the topic of gun control so toxic to any politician and activist that it becomes a death sentence to any and all aspirations of power and office!

Time for our side to send a message to the antis, and we can do that with a I.P. if our own, Constitutional Carry, Castle doctrine, no duty to retreat, inact the hearing protection act, remove SBR and SBS and other NFA restrictions and confusions between rifle and pistol ( but keep full auto on the list to protect capitals investments) and block OSP from keeping/maintaining regrestry of all transfers and finally strike down 941! Let's take back some rights, and let's make them secure against any further attack!
The above listed restorations would be a most excelent message against infringement, and very very hard to challenge by the antis! Let's make it happen captain! I'm in for a couple grand, let's get something going here and build some serious steam pressure behind it!

I am joining all of you in a day of relief and celebration but also steeling myself for the next assault on our rights. Education is the key. The supreme court was right, the authors of 43 were using "politically charged" language. My dear mother, who lives smack in the middle of the People's Republic of Portland was supporting the measure because it would ban "those full-auto AK-47s and close the gun show loophole." The other side will use this ignorance to gain votes.

Someone else posted this gem on another thread: the best defense of our rights is take everyone you know to the range for a day of shooting. Show them your guns and how they function. Knowledge is our secret sauce.

It's the most likely thing to make happen as getting the legislature back into deadlock isn't going to happen this fall. If we flush Brown down, then they need 2/3 in the State Senate and House to override a veto. Still, going to be incredibly hard to accomplish.
