I can understand this post. I hope others that make discussions do too.
I think "good ole' boy" and "soyboy" are two very similar terms. Neither one is positive.

Nothing to do with the term used. The sentiment was understood. I think you understood it too, hence this reply.I think "good ole' boy" and "soyboy" are two very similar terms. Neither one is positive.

Not trying to get into it with you either. Or anyone. Just hoping for @Joe Link to read it and know that myself, and possibly others gets that feeling.
I put tape over your posts.I've often wondered how many members went to ignore me and found out they couldn't. Ah the looks on their faces........
@Reno you know you tried!

I don't think that you were, just past experiences means I play cautiously these days. Don't poke the bear type thing. That in itself is another for Joe!I'm not sure why you think I was trying to get into anything with you.

I like this one: In so far as it is possible, be at peace with all men.Just tossing this out here :
"Search others for their virtues , thyself for thy vices."
And
"Great Good-nature , without Prudence , is a great misfortune."

Ok... I just went through my ignore list and 99% say,
"Page not found
The requested user could not be found"
Does that mean they are no longer members?
If it does, I guess I sure can pick who to "ignore".(or, does it mean I've ticked them off too?)
