Poll: If you have an SBR, was it worth the hassle?

I'd go under 10. One of the reasons for the 300 is it's subsonic capabilities and those are really maximized with SHORT barrels. 7 inches or less are common. I've got a 5.5 inch piston driven rattler and it's a joy to shoot.

Question on the length that you have to put in the Form 1. Is that a definitive lenght that the sbr has to abide by? What if you put on a longer/shorter stock (if not adjustable) down the road in case the one picked wasn't compfortable?

I believe from my reading that you need to keep components to keep it in registered config, but... you can change uppers and stocks and such

Ah okay. Because technically even a change in muzzlebrake changes OAL. Talking AK here...no uppers and lowers.

When is anyone ever going to measure your SBR? Non issue. In any case OAL is measured without the muzzle brake attached.

I interpreted removal from owning parts to restore to originally registered configuration as being a permanent change.

Then my main SBR is essentially the same length and look in 3 calibers. .22lr, .223, and 9mm.
