At the store today picking up camping supplies, I stroll by the ammo shelf and they have nearly all the popular calibers in stock. Still a limit or two boxes per caliber, but apparently Tula 223 can go up to 5 according to the clerk.

When I was in the parking lot, other customers were excited about recently lifted mask mandates, shouting "Freedom!" to each other in passing.

An interesting combination of events...

I am going to continue to wear my mask so I can loudly proclaim my wokeness. Lol.

Been back online for a couple weeks and its starting to get better daily. Just like always. You can count of a flood of sorts before long. There are people sitting on TONS of ammo for the last 14 months watching the market. They will start to dump it trying to get ahead of the price drop.
Primers of course are always last which makes sense. Looks like I will not have to dust off the reloading gear. As I was watching my supply get lower I kept thinking I did not want to have to set it up again so was glad to see it coming back.

Does that mean you have primers that you don't want to have to use?

Yes I have many K of both SP, & LP. Don't load any Rifle stuff any more so I gave those (had several K) away a couple panics back. Had about a K of .223 I did the same with couple panics back. Co worker bought a Sig take on the AR, NICE rifle. Could not even buy some ammo to sight it in. I brought him the .223 I had, charged him what I had paid for it couple decades before. He looked like he wanted to kiss me :s0140:
I keep all the stuff I need to roll the stuff I have. I don't want to have to use it but, its sure as hell nice to know its there. When I shuffle off our kids can sell it all since none of them are much into shooting. I have told them when they get the stuff if they are smart, they will wait for another panic. They always happen again and the stuff will sell for a premium.
As with the AC units I took to Wife's parents stuff like this is nice to have when needed. Like TP :D

I wouldn't let my worst enemy shoot Tula. :)

AND, so the "woke" won't think you're a Trump supporter. ;)
The one upside to this hoax is I could really poke the woke. I have a bunch of Thin Blue Line masks. When I was at a place that said I needed a mask I wore one. Few of the snow flakes gave evil eye but none could say anything as I was wearing a woke mask :s0140:
Only place I would not wear it was when they let us go out to eat again. Did not trust the help there to not do something unpleasant to my food because of the mask.

Ptuuuuuu

And I will continue to ask, "when will you take off the feed bag?"
I congratulated a store today at getting rid of their "stand here, sheep" spots on the floor.
My comment was sarcasm…. I haven't been wearing a mask for months.

Probably get out tomorrow for dog food and check for ammo.

Don't know how many of you guys go to the Grand Ronde casino for buffet but as of July 11 the buffet is shut down.

A few days after the initial mask lift in Oregon I was in a grocery store in Lapine and I noticed an incredibly beautiful lady shopping in the store as well.

Well as I was in line checking out I noticed she had pushed her cart in behind me and only then I realized she was not wearing a mask, nor was I - yet probably 99% of the rest in the store were.

I looked at her and said, ' It sure is nice to finally see a pretty smile' to which she thanked me and we started a nice convo that spilled out into the parking lot.

Turns out she was a nurse from a small Southern Oregon town, VERY conservative and had some very interesting opinions on covid in general. She seemed to be very relieved to be speaking to someone who agreed with her.

Panics come, panics go. I don't think I could care less than I presently do. I know I didn't give a rip about this one or, frankly, those in the recent past. (I care a bit more about a society that is unmoored from reality and/or is simply too stupid to survive. Not that it matters; as a philosophical Absurdist I'm not surprised. And as practical minded fellow, self-sufficiency has always been the goal. Honk-honk. :p)

Pretty much, except I was really excited to get to tell the misses "I told ya so!"
