FYI....FOIA and Pub Records requests will bring any public agency to its knees. It's information warfare in a legal sense. Ask for MP SR citation locations and PM them to me.

Remember they are confirming speed with the LIDAR. They must observe you speeding from their training. Speed = Distance/Time. The LIDAR stores the lock distance and speed. Ask the officer how far away he saw you when you were speeding. Then ask him how many seconds it took. Look at the ticket values written and do your calculation. Then, as happened to me a few months ago, I said "That puts me at 262 mph officer as I winked and said I'll see you in court." End of story.

Radar/LIDAR detectors are worthless.

Also most agencies/states no longer perform traffic surveys before setting the speed limits which is a violation of Federal law.

Information is knowledge. "just don't speed" is not a valid reason. Look at the studies.

not true. I've seen many times people using legal deadly force that go on about their business after a shooting. Look at the old guy in Salem that shot that drunk kid in his garage....

I would be happy if we could replace circuit court judges with a jury of 3 or 6 civilians, I think that would help keep the cops in check. And that cops would be charged for rights violations like they should be

Well, I would say the subject is "speed traps." Its connotation is that police illegally entrap innocent drivers. Either that or we could change the subject.

On that subject, the reason it was such a big deal was the administration of the funds. There was no allegations of wrongdoing on the officers' parts. Speed traps are an excuse. They give drivers who receive tickets an excuse for their actions.

On a side note, on or off topic, if you try arguing something like this, I'm going to tell you how you're wrong.

PS- I'm still waiting for Solowars to give up the names of the officers in Lake O. that he "made damn sure" are no longer working there. It goes toward his credibility and I would like to know if my BS radar is correct or not. If he can product correct information, substantiated information, I'll apologize. If my theory is correct, then I'll know about his integrity.

I have worked in Coburg for 10 years, I was there during the height of the police dept scam & related BS. I still work out there and I can say what is left there now is a humble shell of the corrupt nightmare period this string speaks of. It would appear that times are changing for the better. I've been pulled over more times than I would like but I've met some good cops this way. I've been let off the hook more times than I can count and for some things I was definately guilty of. I have only had one bad experience with an officer and it really wasn't that bad, just a failure to properly communicate on his end.

If anyone has that much 'proof' against any LE type of that kind of harassment, I would suggest they not sit on it and wait, but contact the Admin. of the dept. where the problem comes from.
