Just consider the amount of money lost as a rental fee for the time you got to use or own it.
This is legit. Trying to find guns for long term rental is near impossible, I've looked. If long term firearm rentals were more readily available, what would the cost be? I am pretty sure taking a depreciation lost on a firearm you owned for years is going to be a lot less than a rental fee. Renting vs buying a car would be an example of the cost difference.

We can long term rent just about everything, why not firearms?

I am from Tualatin and I have 3 weapons that I'm trying to sell per a legal agreement. I'm trying this avenue out before I go to a pawn shop. Hope to give one of these a good home. Cheers.
Per legal agreement? What now? You're an FFL or what. You have to actually own a gun to sell it here in Oregon.. someone can't give a gun to someone to sell now unless they're an FFL holder.
