Humidity is horrible here. I probably don't need to, but once a month, I oil the inside and outside, then turn on the goldenrod. I actually had the Henry in Oregon, and she was rusting in my safe. No problem here with my strict oil regimen.

Neither!!! Get a 10/22 compact.... 16" barrel, shorter LOP (12.5"), fiber optic sights, etc. highly recommend that and a bolt release mod, volquartsen hammer, and bolt tune up and you'll be set!

Ordered a Kidd Supergrade. Black receiver, black 20" bull barrel, scalloped silver bolt, red two stage trigger adjusted to 2.5#, FDE Victor Titan stock.
