Heading to ID tomorrow for a week and need advice

Gonna be in Ada county then Ketchum area. I lived in Meridian for 4 years. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to eat in both areas. And no "big box" type restaurants that are everywhere. I'm planning on Idaho Pizza one day for lunch, I remember it being pretty good.

Tangos empanada on orchard is good for a non -pretentious lunch. I hear crazy good things about cucina di Paolo, Also on orchard , near where the laundry robot lady is.

Alas, they ar closed till the 27th for vacation.

Not sure whether still serving, the original 'finger steak, from the 1950s. Torch cafe around 25th & main. Real onion rings as well. No one did it as good, at least up to about 20 years ago, I just haven't kept up. Good luck.
