I have the Gamma lids and can recommend them. PLEASE Realize how much water you'll need. I Grew up in Eastern Wash where we got snowed in more than once. Your food stores are pretty worthless with out available H20. I filter my water So to me the use of stored water in Barrels is O.K. If you can't get food grade barrels, has anyone tried stock water barrels from Coastal Ranch or the likes? Also note: If you need good 20 Yr shelf life emergency food for ONLY 30 cents a serve you can get a year and a half supply for one person... 1656 servings for $500 while they last (Shipping is extra via UPS).
