Galco Kodiak Alternatives?

I currently own an Old Model Ruger Blackhawk in 357, 6 1/2 inch. I've been looking at various holsters around the interwebs and what caught my eye was the Galco Kodiak. The shoulder carry system intrigued me as well at the position of the revolver in the middle of the chest instead of the side. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives, or is this pretty much the only option available? One reason I ask is because this holster is only made for 7 1/2 inch revolvers, does size really matter?
