You can download the Kindle program to your computer and read it that way.

Thanks for the link. SWMBO has been asking (hounding me) for a kindle, I downloaded the Kindle onto her laptop and now she's as happy as a clam. I downloaded the book you posted and also found that there are tons of free books in the amazon kindle store, might be able to find something else useful.

If you have a smart phone it might have a Kindle app. Or you can probably get the app easily. I just realized I had it on my phone. Input my Amazon account info and downloaded the book. It took about 2 minutes. Sweet! ;-)

I went through the top 100 free books and saw several in the Prep category. Canning, urban gardening, southern cooking in Dutch Ovens, and one other 101 survival tips book.

The Kindle free list changes on a regular basis, keep checking back.
