Just a few observations:

1. Superjew would be nearly the worst name possible for a real troll, I would think Rambo XII, or feelingluckypunk would be far better.

2. It is clear from their yap, and from the polls (see cite I gave before) that Democrats are more in favor of gun control than Republicans. However, from their actions it is also clear that the Republicans are working against the middle class, and for the aristocrisy (Ryan budget, blatent and obvious), so even if we have the rights, if we haven't got the dough to buy ammo and arms, you have acheived the same thing.

3. Since the survival of the middle class is more immediate a concern of mine, I won't generally vote for the GOP. Besides, If your a GOP poliitican, you get about 30% of the vote for doing nothing but not wetting yourself in public, claiming you love the 2nd, Jesus, strong defense, and lower taxes gets you almost half, with no effort at all, somehow I doubt the veracity of the players, it's just too easy. The Dems are in a similar boat, and I don't believe them either, but I do note the direction of the legislation the parties are pushing, and the GOP in the house has sunk to a level of blatent worship of the rich that seems scripted by the free market think tanks, who actually think up clever BS that all supports unresticted business, ability of business to control gov - a weak government, and the bottom line - the rich having it all.

I've been anti gov since the VN war.

I see the gov and the corporations becomming one thing right before our eyes. The business interests grow, support, train, and pay to put into office political operatives who are dedicated to giving their 'true mothers' more and more power. When this process is finished we will be living in a facism, subject to direct control by many self interested demigods who will make justice only their will, making the people, not rich enough to own them, into slaves. I want an independent gov to do their job and stand up to the business interests for the reasonable good of the general public.

They have, as Stomper says, divided us up so we fight over actionless perceptions. The very forces that claim to work toward enhancing the power of the public, are often the proxies of the ubers. We are all way to easy to fool, and the forces allied against the ideal of America, have the $ to hire the best and brighest who practice the art of making dopes out of us!

The truth will set us free.

What you say is true about issues, and if the issues. and related facts. were the basis for the hate, then you would have me in your bite. However, I've discussed these issues in here with people who just know Obama is a socialist, or that climate change is a hoax, or the bailouts weren't necessary, or that healthcare was fine as it was, or that there is still no birth certificate, and, to sum up, they have amazingly few real facts to back up their very strong opinions. I see their politics as a facade, nothing behind and as flat as a billboard, so, on that basis their hate is BS, just as now supporting because a scumbag got offed with the pres just giving the go ahead, is BS. It was just his job to give the go ahead, and a 20% turn around over this is amazing, unless you see it as an alternate flavor of the same sort of BS that fuels the haters. Consider if the mission had failed, what would be Obama's popularity now, and wouldn't that be BS too?

Concerning the 60% approval BHO has, just remember that Geo. H. Bush (41) had those kind of approval numbers too after Gulf War-I, but was defeated by a little known Governor from Arkansas. Bush-41 did relatively well on FOREIGN policy, but his DOMESTIC policy was lacking... and he lost re-election because of it.

This is nothing more than a repeat of that, and the reason I'm confident in saying that is unemployment is OVER 9%, inflation is just about on the verge of a RAMPANT ascent, and the bottom line is, people can't put OBL in their gas tanks so they can go to work, or sell off pieces of OBL's body to buy food, and the "green economy" will just further jack prices up. Sounds to me like BHO's DOMESTIC policy is (sorely) lacking (like Carter and Bush-41... both single-termers)... just a thought.

Good points, I'm not predicting the outcome of the next elections, I can't evaluate the chemistry of BS, and in my oversimplified model of the voters, this is their primary criteria. I know the flow of corporate money during the run up will be huge beyond belief, and that most of it will be supporting the GOP, 2010 was just a dress rehersal for the Citizen's United decision. The real thing in question will be, are we smart enough to see though the massed lies that will be presented to us in very clever ways? People think McDonald's has good food, so we are doomed. I'm trying to decide what corporate god the manditory shrine in my house should be dedicated to.
