Field expedient holsters and slings

This guy certainly doesn't look like he's packing heat.

Seriously, being on an extreme budget I have gotten creative with some of my minimal preps.

I do have some rifles and handguns that I have no holsters or slings for and family members who may have to be carrying them or some ammo and supplies if things go bad.
The wife is always complaining when I save a slightly worn backpack or keep a few "Nerdy fanny packs" laying around.
It has become a bit of a secret hobby of mine that I hope I will never have a use for but being in a creative mindset might save the day, or your life.

I have a laptop case I use to carry the AR lower and upper separated. Has plenty of decently sized pouches so I can carry the rifle parts, a couple mags, and the absolute minimum med supplies. I also have a laminated sheet describing who I am with a photo in case of a problem.
