Run Silent, Run Deep
I'd watched that again just recently. I had been a looong time. I think as I've got older, and been reading books of actual experiences in WWI and WWII, I'm looking more for the reality of these movies. I still love the classic actors! But I found myself cringing when Clark Gable went against direct orders and went to the Bungo Strait's to even the score! Wouldn't have happened with out Burt Lancaster taking control of the ship in reality!

Le roi de coeur (The King of Hearts) is a French anti-war film from 1966, set in WWI. It has a lot of humor, as a British soldier is sent ahead to scout the taking of a small French town, is spotted, and takes refuge in an insane asylum. The inmates escape and wander in the evacuated town. It has been over 50 years since I saw this film, and I still remember some scenes pretty well.

Watching 'drone bombs' on YT take out russian tanks, APC's, soldiers on motorcycles, and even individual russians.

It's better than watching old war movies...
