Should have bought an Anderson.

You buy an Anderson not for the rifle, but for the lifestyle. Keystone Light in the 80s mini fridge next to the 70s floral couch in the front yard are soon to follow. Camo crocs are also an essential accessory.Should have bought an Anderson.
Indeed, but I never once touched the bolt catch.Isn't that how it supposed to be done? Slap that b!tch home. That's what I was taught atleast. Lol.
So it just snapped in two on its own….. the movement of the hammer must be pretty violent in those fancy DD rifles.Indeed, but I never once touched the bolt catch.
It just went off all by itself!!So it just snapped in two on its own….. the movement of the hammer must be pretty violent in those fancy DD rifles.
I sold my anderson And my SOLGW custom and my KE15 and my everything else I owned 15+ to downsize my pew life. I wanted to get the best AR on the market to pimp out and SBR as well as a staccato so I made some sacrifices.Should have bought an Anderson.
Sure it's not a Sig?It just went off all by itself!!
I definitely wouldn't say DD is the best.I sold my anderson And my SOLGW custom and my KE15 and my everything else I owned 15+ to downsize my pew life. I wanted to get the best AR on the market to pimp out and SBR as well as a staccato so I made some sacrifices.
I was expecting a tank with this mk18 hence my shock and disappointment. This has never happened before "that's what he said" with any other AR I have ever owned and I have owned a few.
The outsourcing of parts explains a lot about what happened here.
I'm sure I'm not the first or last.
I just want it fixed ASAP by DD's pros.
Let's call it a test of their Customer Support.
Note: I was trying out a newly added Geissele 2 stage. So it just snapped in two on its own….. the movement of the hammer must be pretty violent in those fancy DD rifles.
They'll fix it. They're great rifles and have fewer QC issues than many including Colt, which is what I use and prefer despite their quirks.I sold my anderson And my SOLGW custom and my KE15 and my everything else I owned 15+ to downsize my pew life. It looks like they changed bolt catches in recent years on the MK18sMIM bolt catch and poor heat treatment?
Get one of these and be done with it. https://www.vsevenweaponsystems.com/lower-parts/v7-ultra-light-s7-bolt-catchIt looks like they changed bolt catches in recent years on the MK18s
Lol, I was going to say mim's the word but hey. Anyway, I gather tungsten carbide etc. cutting bits are essentially metal injection molded.. that cut everything known to man pretty much.MIM bolt catch and poor heat treatment?
