Absolutely.......the problem is the Brown's addition in Spokane has more votes than all those places combined.

Yep, and a lot of them are "low information voters" like this fellow in a Spokesman Review letter to the editor with obviously zero grasp of the 2A. Unfortunately their vote counts as much as mine.:(

As far as gun violence goes, ironically the military has stricter gun control than in the civilian sector.

If everyone in the U.S. military were allowed to carry guns, there would be carnage all the time. No one but the MPs and officers are allowed to carry guns, and even then, only sidearms. The automatic rifles and fast-acting "machine" guns are used only for combat.

Why doesn't the N.R.A. wake up? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if anyone is allowed to posses weapons, of course there are going to be mass killings.

You wouldn't have to repeal the Second Amendment, just regulate it so only certain people can carry weapons - mainly police, FBI agents and anyone in authority who can responsibly decide when to use them and when not to use them.

Wake up, Congress. Wake up, senators. Wake up, Mr. President. Wake up, Republican Party. Wake up, America! Please.

Gun control in the military

People moving out of California into any other states should be taxed, at some ridiculous rate. Make them think twice tax. Also an American Civics class and test, basically the re-naturalization into American society, and that should cost more then the tax $300K sounds about right, and no voting rights for 6yrs because they need to be punished for Californicationing the rest of the nation. Oregos greatest Governor Tom McCall wanted to implement a visa system for the state (oregon), come here visit but at some point take your butt back to where you came. Look at the mess we are in now...
sounds like we missed the boat and Washington is right there with Oregon wondering, what the Phucky did we do by not having ome kind of filter for people moving into our great states.

This!!! I might throat punch the next SOB that tells me that I'm evil for liking guns!

See... that just goes to show that gun owners tend towards violence!!! :p:D

Yah, I've been trying to reduce stress. Face to face I'm doing ok by omitting azzhats from my life. If I'm feeling froggy tho, I know I can come here or FB and find a good barroom brawl. LOL

Unfortunately those ideas have been ruled unconstitutional............in all honesty, we (in Idaho) have many great California refugees (some of our most conservitive counties are ground zero for California migration) but we have a reputation of being very conservitive and well known to lynch Californian liberals. I think many don't want to have an Idaho address to forward there mail to. The stories I hear from my wife and kids California friends about there conception of Idaho are wonderful. We have to encourage them.

It's all good guys, it's your show but the first amendment also protects the second Amendment and you should be just as careful with our rights to speech as you are with gun rights.

I've been preaching to folks about this for a long time, but nobody ever seems to get it... The 1A prohibits GOVERNMENT from penalizing/prohibiting free speech. Period. That's all. That's the total extent.

Therefore, employers can, and do, control/penalize speech. They can suspend you, put a comment in your file, even fire you, if they don't like what you said. (With the exception of whistleblower laws). Similarly, forums may control/penalize speech... when you signed up you agreed to certain rules... not saying you have violated any, but just making the point that 1A does not apply here.

But gun bans arent?
Every time gun bans get to the Supreme Court........they are overturned. The problem is the anti's have enough power to delay the court hearing the cases as long as possible. We (gun owners) have not given enough time and money to overcome the roadblocks they put up to get laws struck down in a timely manner.

The work of career politician scum, cowards in suits. I know how it goes... one day when people cant fight back (now) without looking insane to the rest of the population people will realize how close we are to being slaves to the rich/wealthy billionaires that own the worlds wealth(hint, we are there).
Giving up arms (firearms) just means people failed in one generation to educate their own children no matter what they were being taught in school. Parents still need to sitdown with children and teach them the lessons of histories past. But that hasnt happened in a few generations to most of the US's children, it was left up to public school teachers in most cases. Thats what happens when People stop raising/teaching their own children and leave to someone else. Those who cant do, teach...

I don't know what you are responding to......we typical people have more resources and money than all the billionaires combined. An average city residential square block alone has to be worth 5 million dollars. (5 Homes per side X4 X250,000 per Home) that wealth very quickly overcomes any of what you call the "wealthy" people. And everyone gets one vote. We have way too many sheeple in our society but we still have the power if we choose to apply it. Our constitution is the power behind the common man restricting government authority but we have to use the influence of our wealth and votes to enforce it. Something I maintain too few people are willing to do. The richest men in the world make there money 30-50-100 dollars at a time (Bill gates, the Apple guys)

Billionaires compared with the rest of us, by the numbers

Interesing article.

Heres a quote
"The fortunate three are Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and financier and investor Warren Buffett. Their $264.1 billion in holdings outstrips the combined net worth of an estimated 160 million people, or 53 million U.S. households, according to the report titled: Billionaire Bonanza 2017."

Im gonna say your very wrong.

Newspaper reporter and Murray Kempton acolyte

Billionaires compared with the rest of us, by the numbers ---- IMO very shallow thinking and writing for a "Murray Kempton acolyte". And half the article being a treatise on INCOME INEQUALITY... really? His socialist panties are showing.

The numerical statistics concerning 3 mens wealth equal to 160 million peoples wealth was what I found interesting
, I didnt say it was a good read, just interesting.
