This may very well be true, but they have been, and continue to remain glaringly, and overwhelmingly silent on such issues, including the latest such issue over Phil Robertson.
Levin is a unique and rare voice amongst the sea of people who could speak up, but they do not.

And, why?

Why? Because the media and education system have brainwashed them into thinking the right has been waging a war on them as well as the blacks and women. All in an effort to get the votes to tear America down, divide us and make us into their Socialist utopia that they think is the answer to all that is bad in the world.

The top gay activists from GLAAD and others who have a platform on TV are not the fools, they are the Socialist ideologues who influence other gays and minorities to feel they are being targeted by the evil right wingers aka Republicans. These ideologues are very trendy and savvy and have hijacked the straight white youth to their cause as well. Only the young white youth don't really know what the cause really is yet. I posted an article that Camille Paglia (an avowed lesbian) wrote about the situation wherein she called the attacks on Robertson for his opinions "fascist". It was immediately pointed out that fascism refers to governments and that Paglia had used the term incorrectly. Here's my reply to those people:

It borders on pedantic to discount the meaning she was attempting to convey because she used a couple of words inappropriately. The victim card is something people seem to be proud of and celebrate. If they aren't a true victim themselves they ride the distant coat tails of long dead ancestors. As for the gays it's going to get to the point where young men are pretending to be gay just to fit in. A lot of women are now days being vague about their sexuality just to be cool or mysterious or whatever. I really don't think the media hype is near the persecution they claim to receive.
