Let people shoot back at the people shooting at the kids... but before that... if there's already abundance of evidence or signs that someone went off the deep end and is planning to shoot people up... why not lock them up after theyve abused or killed their 2nd, 3rd animal, or stolen a gun or three?

The reason you can't have a productive conversation with anti-gunners is because 99.999999% anti-gunners come at the issue from a 100% EMOTIONAL perspective.

You cannot have a logic, reason based conversation about a topic with someone who argues emotionally.

Also, the vast majority of anti-gunners do NOT want to have an actual conversation...despite what they say. What they want to do is to cram down their views, beliefs, and solutions with whoever they're talking to.

Instead of gun control, with these people you can substitute "global warming", "racism", "LBTQ", and many other beliefs. It isn't possible to separate gun control from the rest of the radical beliefs held by these people.

Last year I went to a 50-year class reunion. Two women left the group gathering/dinner where the entire group was catching up on each other's lives since graduation in order to watch a January 6th hearing on TV. This is sick!

One of these women later tried to get me to sign a Measure 114 petition!

For the last 50 years I have been telling people that Environmentalism is a substitute for religion. Now many other issues have achieved similar status. People need a belief in order to motivate their lives. This has been twisted by attacking religion and substituting these movements to exploit that need. This was one of the major mechanisms used to spread Marxism/Leninism in the last Century. While it would be easy to conflate Socialism with this development, it is more likely that those who wish to consolidate power are merely using whatever works.
