A 22lr velocitor bullet out of the same size barrel = 124 ft lb.

A 5.7 out of a 4.7" barrel (such as the psa 5.7 pistol) = 273 fit lb

Why in the world would anyone buy this gun? Makes no sense.

A 22 mag in that barrel size is just about the same as 22lr.

Contrast that with a 22 mag in 16" barrel = 351 ft lbs, or about the same as a 9mm handgun.

It's not for me as 22 mag ammo is too expensive. I can buy 9mm ammo cheaper than I can 22 magnum and I can reload the empty cases with 9mm.

It's a common caliber that I do not currently have.

The 22mag henry is probably a better choice, I still like this though.

Not buying one but still want one.

I'll take an 8 shot revolver with convertible wheel over this. Looks sweet though. But I may wait for Taurus to come out with the TX22 mag version.
