Concealed carry at Big venues?

You're armed 24x7, regardless of whether you happen to have a gun on you. The mind is the weapon, the gun is a tool - an awesome, useful tool that is infinitely more preferable to have than not, but still just a tool at the end of the day. Maintain situational awareness, practice avoidance and de-escalation, and be mentally prepared to act. Not much more you can do than that without potentially compromising your evening plans.

Courts, post offices, etc is by law. Private businesses can say "No Guns" if they want to, but few can afford metal detectors and such to enforce it.

Posession of a weapon in a prohibited place can get you arrested. A private business can just ask you to leave.

what about an event at the oregon convention center and the event throwers have a no weapons allowed policy on their website? Would that get you arrested?
