Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I'm mailing in my CHL application tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone knew if I should mail in the certificate that shows I completed the course with the application or bring that to the meeting? Also, what is the turnaround time for receiving anything back from them? Thanks!
No don't mail the clss certificate in, take it in with you for your appointment when you go in to get your fingerprints taken care of. Mine took about 30 days in Washington County, the wifes took just a hair over 15.
Oregon (Clackamas) you bring the packet with you, when they take your picture, finger prints, and money. All they do with the certificates and mail is look at it to see you have it, they only keep the CHL form and money. I got it around 30 days.
Utah you mail everything including the certificate of gun training. Around 60 days.
