I have a nice spring blade knife (with fire dept logo of course) and it has a glass punch on one end of it and a seat belt cutter as well. It works very well. If I am out in my vehicles, then I have the choice of axe or crowbar, collapsible baton or claw hammer.

Old habits die hard and old firefighters like to have tools of forced entry at all times. They have been used several times. Makes real short work of basic extraction or access problems.
