I just returned from a motorcycle ride to Chicago. The only problem, states were Illinois and Minnesota. In those states I used a gun lock thru my xds, put the gun in a lockable rug, and locked the rug in my tour Pak. I put the magazines in a locking saddlebag.
I also carried a Gerber folder and Fenix PD35 light. I did NOT like the feeling of being unarmed except for the knife and light.
Where legal, I carried in a DeSantis pocket holster with an extra mag in a belt pouch. It didn't print, and was not uncomfortable whIle riding.
