When I clean mine I wrapped a rag around the muzzle and put it in the safe muzzle down then come back a day later and run a wipe through the barrel get extra oil out I forgot where I got them but I got these long pipe cleaners and I can put them in the gas tube to clean it out

I've always heard conflicting advice from different people regarding the gas tube. Some people say to clean the gas tube and others say not to mess with it. I'm not sure who's advice to follow.

I've never cleaned a gas tube on any AR. I did clean the gas tube on my AK once

Make sure that you use tactical oil only on your AR. Anything else and you're not a real operator!
