Is it still a Fed.Regulation that Black Powder must be kept in a"loose" powder bunker no closer than 75' from an occupied bldg.?
Loose being that the sides and roof must 'blow out' upon an explosion. And IF I remember that there can't be any spark creating fasteners used.

There's a 50 lb exemption for personal recreational/sporting use if that's what you're asking.

Is black powder subject to regulation under Federal explosives laws? | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Commercial storage is a different can of worms.

I always thought the 75' was almost impossible in our cities.

I keep mine in a '50's wooden dynamite box. It has the original danger and high explosives warnings on it, so I hope the warnings are self explanatory.
